Eligible agricultural workers receive occupational, on-the-job, and work experience services that lead to permanent work assignments. Childcare, housing, health and medical, nutritional, and transportation services are provided to support the customer’s transition from training to employment. Over the years, the agency has expanded its menu of services to include Early Head Start, entrepreneurial training (youth and adult), housing development, and financial literacy. Financial reimbursement services for other agencies and corporations, such as the Arkansas Department of Health, and the Dismantling the Cradle to Prison Pipeline Project have joined the mix of available services. AHDC’s progressive initiatives serve as a fundamental and intricate delivery system to assist low income, disadvantaged and underserved customers by providing them with resources and tools to help them reach their greatest potential. |
